The Taghum Community Society happily received a membership grant from the Nelson & District Arts Council to purchase a microphone and amplifier for Taghum Hall. This portable unit will be used for in and outdoor functions. It has a dance-party-light option which follows beats, is bluetooth-enabled to play music, and allows singing-over-music.

A Taghum Hall rental includes use of the amp/mic (karaoke singing), wifi-enabled projector (movies/slide-shows), free wifi, mic stand, piano, tables/chairs, ping-pong tables, stage, full-kitchen, and provides a large, open space for various games and activities.
